SUPA Performance Center basketball court with athletes training

Grand opening · Sanford, North Carolina

A new home
for every game.

SUPA Performance Center of Sanford opens its doors as a multi-sport training and events destination built for athletes, coaches, teams, and the community.

Sanford has a new place to train, compete, and come together. The grand opening of the SUPA Performance Center of Sanford marks a major step in Supreme Athletics’ vision for a more connected, more accessible sports community across the region.

Latonya Brown, Co-Founder and CEO of Supreme Athletics, is partnering with Kenny Nivar—the father of former UNC women’s basketball star and Atlanta Dream 2026 draft pick Indya Nivar—to build a multi-sport performance center where athletes can develop across disciplines and local programs can find a professional home.

The result is a facility designed around flexibility: a place where a basketball training session can share the building with a volleyball event, where table tennis and pickleball can welcome new communities, and where coaches and teams can rent space that is ready for purposeful work.

Built for the way
sports happen now.

SUPA Performance Center of Sanford is not built around a single sport. Its value is the ability to host multiple kinds of training and events under one roof—with premium surfaces, adaptable layouts, and the operational details that help practices and programs run smoothly.

4Basketball goals for training and play
1Full indoor volleyball court
4Official Butterfly table tennis tables
3Full-size indoor pickleball courts

One center. Multiple pathways.

From youth development and high-performance training to community play, clinics, team practices, and special events, SUPA gives athletes more ways to keep moving forward. The facility’s court, track, and turf surfaces support a broad range of work: skill development, movement training, conditioning, and competition preparation.

That multi-sport approach is especially meaningful for local coaches and teams in Lee and Chatham County. Instead of piecing together schedules across different venues, programs can access a consistent, premium indoor environment designed to support the next session, the next season, and the next generation of athletes.
