Understand the sport’s demands

Analyze the physical requirements of the athlete’s chosen sport to tailor training accordingly.

Focus on foundational movements, develop mobility & flexibility

Focus on compound exercises to build overall strength and stability as well as improve joint range of motion to prevent injuries.

Progressive overload

Gradually increase the intensity, duration, or resistance/weight lifted in training sessions to stimulate adaptation.

Set realistic goals

Establish achievable targets to maintain motivation and track progress.

Prioritize accountability & communication

Hold athletes responsible for their training and commitment to the program. Openly discuss progress, concerns, and adjustments with the athlete.

Recognize and acknowledge both small and significant milestones to boost confidence.
